Sunekos
Regenerate.
Hydrate.
Renew.
Sunekos is an injectable skin booster with a patented formula combining hyaluronic acid and six amino acids — working beneath the surface to stimulate your skin's own production of collagen and elastin.
Unlike traditional fillers that add volume directly, Sunekos works by supporting the skin's natural regenerative processes, gradually restoring firmness, hydration, and elasticity from within.
Available here as Sunekos Performa and Sunekos 1200, treatments can be used on the face, neck, décolletage, and hands — and are tailored to your individual skin concerns.

What is Sunekos® and How Does it Work?
Sunekos® works by targeting the skin's extracellular matrix (ECM) - the structural framework beneath the surface that gives skin its firmness, elasticity, and hydration. As we age, the ECM breaks down, leading to the fine lines, laxity, and dullness that gradually become more noticeable over time. Using a patented formula of hyaluronic acid combined with six essential amino acids, Sunekos® stimulates the skin's own fibroblasts - the cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin - to rebuild and regenerate from within. This isn't about adding volume or masking the signs of ageing; it's about restoring the skin's underlying structure so that improvements look and feel completely natural. The result is skin that becomes progressively firmer, better hydrated, and more resilient across the course of treatment - with a quality and subtlety that's difficult to achieve through topical skincare alone.
What Can Sunekos® Treat?
Sunekos® is a versatile treatment that addresses a wide range of skin concerns, making it suitable for a broad range of patients. It works particularly well for:
- Fine lines and wrinkles - especially in delicate areas such as around the eyes, mouth, and forehead
- Skin laxity - where the skin has begun to lose its firmness and definition
- Dehydration and dullness - restoring deep hydration and a healthy, natural radiance
- Under-eye concerns - including fine lines, dark circles, and puffiness
- Uneven skin texture and tone - improving overall skin quality and smoothness
- Early signs of ageing - making it an excellent preventative treatment for younger patients wanting to maintain their skin long term
- Sun damage and acne scarring - where skin regeneration can help improve the appearance of existing damage
It can be used on the face, neck, décolletage, and hands, and is suitable for all skin types.
Sunekos Performa and Sunekos 1200 - What's the Difference?
At Skin Story Clinic, I offer both Sunekos Performa and Sunekos 1200, and the right choice — or combination — will depend on your skin's individual needs.
Sunekos Performa is the more refined of the two formulations, with an improved ratio of amino acids to hyaluronic acid. It works particularly well for earlier signs of ageing — fine lines, skin dehydration, and loss of radiance — and is especially effective in delicate areas such as around the eyes. It's a great option for patients who want to maintain and protect their skin, as well as those noticing the first signs of change.
Sunekos 1200 is a stronger formulation designed for more advanced concerns — deeper lines, significant skin laxity, and loss of volume and structure. It works at a deeper level within the skin to provide additional scaffolding and support where the skin needs more intensive regeneration.
Used in combination, the two products work together using what's known as the "cushion technique" — Sunekos 1200 provides the deeper structural support, while Sunekos Performa refines the surface, improving texture, tone, and hydration. This combined approach is often recommended for the best overall results and is something we can discuss during your consultation.
Treatment Plan — What to Expect
A full Sunekos course typically consists of 3 sessions spaced approximately 10–14 days apart, with the exact protocol tailored to your individual skin needs during your consultation. Each session takes around 30–45 minutes, with numbing cream applied beforehand for comfort. Initial improvements in hydration are typically visible within two weeks of your first session, with more significant improvements in firmness and texture appearing at 4–6 weeks as collagen and elastin production builds. Downtime is minimal — most patients return to normal activities immediately. Maintenance treatments are recommended every 4–6 months to sustain results.
