What should I do before my treatment? • Complete the patient medical questionnaire form before your arrival. • Please arrive 5 minutes early. • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior to your appointment. • Ensure you have not had any dermal filler, chemical peel, skin booster, or laser treatments within the 4 weeks preceding your appointment. • Do not wear make-up or apply creams on the day of your appointment.
Does the treatment hurt? • Some patients may experience mild discomfort. We minimise discomfort by using finer needles and applying numbing cream.
What should I avoid after treatment? •Do not touch or rub the treated area for 24 hours. Avoid sun exposure for 14 days. • Refrain from using make-up, cleansers, or perfumed products for 24 hours. • Gently clean your face using only light pressure. • Avoid strenuous exercise. • Stay away from sunbeds, saunas, and steam rooms for 24 hours. • Do not consume alcohol for 48 hours.
What can I expect after the treatment? • You may notice small bumps at the injection sites, which typically subside within 10-30 minutes. • Swelling and sometimes bruising may occur. We recommend arnica cream or tablets to help reduce this.
When will I start to see the results of the treatment? • Results are typically visible 7-14 days after the treatment.
What happens 3-6 months after treatment? • Muscle activity and the appearance of wrinkles will gradually return after about 3 months. • Maintenance treatments, 2-3 times a year, can help maintain smooth skin over time.
